STERN Arm Chair
In classical and medieval periods, astrologers embarked on lengthy maritime journeys to map the stars. The STERN Arm Chair draws inspiration from the wooden ships employed on such voyages, each vessel expertly crafted to withstand the elements. Burl wood veneer stained in a rich chocolate is crafted into a comfortably contoured seat, mirrored by rounded arms. The chair’s back extends to the floor in one singular plank, across from elegantly tapered front legs; each is capped in burnished brass. This stately seat plays well at the dining table and is equally at home as a standalone accent piece.
